  • Where can I find the price list for PPS?

  • Can I buy the CrewBriefing.com web-service without PPS?
    • CrewBriefing is an integrated part of the PPS program and therefore cannot be bought separately.
  • Do you provide Flight Following?
    • Yes. In cooperation The Weather Company, we are able to provide first-class Flight Following in real-time.
  • How long from signing the contract until the system is installed?
    • 2-3 days after contract has been signed, you will be contacted by one of our Support Specialists, who together our sales representative will be your point of contact throughout the installation process.
  • Does PPS work on Mac computers?
    • Yes. You can use PPS on your Mac via a parallel desktop setup.
  • Is it possible to get a demo before purchasing the program?
    • Yes. We would be more than happy to give you an online demonstration. You can book an online demonstration via the top-right corner menu of our website or by contacting our Sales Department via sales(at)airsupport.dk or at +45 7533 8889.
  • What mechanism is being used to optimize OFP computation in terms of fuel and over-flight charges ?
    • Route generation based on total cost based on DOC, Fuel prices, Overflight Cost and forecasted winds
  • Is it possible to file an ATC flight plan with PPS?
    • We use AFTN addresses for processing our ATC flight plans. The process is tasken care of by our AMEXSY system. Dispatching can also be via our system add-on AutoDispatch. AMEXSY includes a large database of AFTN addresses and all minimum required AFTN addresses for a specific flight will automatically be inserted prior to filing. If needed, additional AFTN addresses can also be added via the company database.
  • What mechanism is being used by PPS to identify and avoid closed airways within EUROCONTROL area while processing the OFP, i.e. Traffic Flow Restriction (TFR) etc?
    • RAD and Middle East airway restrictions are incorporated. Via our validation feature it is easy for dispatchers to create a good valid route. Moreover, PPS can be seamlessly integrated with The Weather Company's Fusion system in which NOTAM alerts for example can be enabled, identifying flights which will be affected in case of e.g. airport or airway closure.
  • Does PPS have the capability to record historical operational data related to OFP, i.e.sector-wise  overflying charges and fuel uplift sector-wise?
    • Yes. All data saved and available in Post Flight Data can be exported to all well-known file formarts, e.g. XML, Excel and txt.
  • Can PPS calculate in advance the direct operational costs associated with overflight charges and fuel for a given route?
    • Optimal route generation is key. The PPS system algorithm takes numerous parameters into consideration in order to derive total costs; DOC, fuel prices, overflight costs and forecasted winds etc.
