The PPS Flight Planning and CrewBriefing solution is a very efficient, suitable and powerful flight planning solution for Flight Service Providers who specialize in flight management contract services towards 3rd party aircraft operators and towards 3rd party operators with ad hoc flight planning service requirements. The PPS Flight Planning and CrewBriefing solution is currently used by numerous FSP Flight Service Providers covering management dispatch services from just a few aircrafts to large scale service providers offering full international trip planning services along with PPS Flight Planning and CrewBriefing services for larger aircraft fleets.

All FSP Flight Service Providers using the PPS Flight Planning and CrewBriefing solution have access to all facilities in the PPS Flight Planning main system solution including long-range EROPS/ETOPS/ETP planning calculations together with the CrewBriefing solution which is accessed directly by the 3rd party operators for download of the updated flight briefing documents. Flight Service Providers carry the option to offer 3rd party operators individual CrewBriefing accounts with individual company logo and log-in codes for added privacy and security as well as customised aircraft performance data installations delivered by AIR SUPPORT.

With the set-up facilities and flexibility built into PPS, it can easily accommodate aircraft performance data set-up and flight log lay-out designs from single engine piston aircraft types flying IFR up through all the traditional small and mid-sized turboprop and jet aircraft types to the long-range and ultra long-range business jets and airline turboprop and jet types. Features such as EROPS planning with calculation of oxygen requirements and ETOPS ETP planning with critical fuel scenarios and performance driftdown calculation profiles are available. Upload of flight plan and wind data from PPS to the aircraft’s onboard FMS system is also available providing the aircraft carries an FMS Satcom subscription with Honeywell Global Data Centre or ARINC Direct.

The advantages of the PPS Flight Planning main system and CrewBriefing solution along with the long-range calculation features mean that the Flight Service Provider gets a pc-based flight planning software tool that will create everything the operator needs for easy as well as complex flights within a minute or two; it will generate the routing, calculate cruise performance and fuel requirements and optimum FL, en-route overflight charges, initial weight and balance providing tail number performance data has been installed by AIR SUPPORT, EROPS/ETOPS ETP calculation analysis with critical fuel scenarios, filing of the flight plan electronically worldwide, manage CFMU slot messages and CTOTs while giving the user full planning flexibility in the process.  Without human interaction required, trip tailored briefings are automatically created and made instantly available via the internet on www.CrewBriefing.com. A CrewBriefing package can include the operational flight plan/log with updated winds and temperatures, ATS flight plan copy and updated trip tailored NOTAM briefing, surface weather briefing, wind charts, vertical cross section wind charts, significant weather charts as well as company messages and company NOTAMs. A special upload feature allows the Flight Service Provider to upload additional pdf documents applying to the flight.

The system can run off a lap-top as well as be installed on a network or Terminal Server environment if required. The PPS Flight Planning main system as well as the route generator system can also work off-line.
