The European Aviation Safety Seminar (EASS) was established in 1989. Similar in format to the IASS, it addresses the safety challenges of aviation growth in Europe.

Since 2000, the EASS has been co-presented by European Regions Airline Association. From 2008, Eurocontrol is a co-presenter of this seminar.
